The last decade has introduced a range of qualitative improvements in the way that the construction industry utilizes digital technology, and most of these changes have become evident through the accelerated use of (BIM) Building Information Modeling. In an attempt to define BIM and its implications on current industry trends, very often emphasis is placed on model-based technology linked with a database of project information, where indeed this three dimensional content is only a small part of its inherent complexity.
At BIMcatch we are commited to the use and the advancement of this methodology represents a logical development facilitated by our internal business model, which is heavily reliant on process integration and efficient project delivery. In that regard it became paramount for us as an organization to fully adopt and integrate BIM methodology within the broader scope of what we like to address as Virtual Design and Construction (VDC).
