Digital Project Delivery Planning
BIMCATCH has developed a Digital Project Deliver effort evaluation process based on industry highest standards in order to assure an objective and project-centric set of expectations for the use of technology. Once the goals on any project have been identified, it is the responsibility of the entire BIMCATCH team to derive and agree on a comprehensive Digital Project DeliveryImplementation Plan. The proposed Draft BIM Implementation Plan outlines team member responsibilities, technology solutions, the envisioned approach for value added support methodology, and industry standards as they relate to the Owner’s objective for downstream use of an information rich model.
Reality Capture
Accurate surveying and existing conditions capture and modeling with the remote sensing equipment (laser scanning). Such information is successfully merged with the digital model for the purposes of better project understanding, field error avoidance and timely communication with all of project stakeholders.
Over the past six years we have acquired and successfully used Laser Scanning technology and have built the infrastructure that makes available the massive amounts of data captured within Point Clouds. Deployment of Laser scanning assures the capture of field data, and comparison of that data to BIM datasets thus greatly reduces the time that would otherwise be spent on manual verification.
